October:addition/subtraction facts to 18; instant recall using strategies: Make 10, Count On, Doubles, Doubles plus one, etc...
November:Patterns in number in a 100-chart, and in geometric shapes

May: Probability - likelihood of events happening, use of language (probable, unlikely, certain...), predict probability based on the space on spinners or sides on number cubes, compare predictions to results

- Cooperative games; emphasizing fair play, respect for peers and their space, giving your best effort
HEALTH
- healthy living
- Fit Kids Rules: eat a variety of fruits/veggies, get active, limit screen time, drink mainly water/milk, get 10 hrs of sleep
DRAMA:
- role playing social situations to learn about empathy and conflict resolution
SOCIAL STUDIES: (alternates with Science units)
